Interactive Textured Artwork Experience

Interactive Textured Artwork Experience

Can you imagine creating a beautiful work of art with your guests on your wedding day? And I don’t mean the unreal posed photos you will take or the choreographed dances you might have lined up.

I’m talking about painting a once in a lifetime textured artwork piece with every single one of your guests - artwork you will take home and cherish forever, remembering your best day.

Sounds amazing but what do you really mean?

Textured artwork has been very popular recently and for good reason too, it can become stunning artwork for your home. The layers of paste, the mix of colours and the light that will bounce off this artwork create an essence of depth, warmth and emotion.

This live artwork experience will guide each of your guests to create a gentle stroke of paste onto the canvas, symbolising their part in your day.

Throughout the evening, layer by layer the canvas will be brought to life and by the end, you will have a bespoke piece of artwork - telling the story of your favourite people on your special day.

It becomes a timeless keepsake from your wedding day, ready to hang in your home forever.

How does it work?

Before the big day, we will talk about what colours and personalisation you would like on the canvas. Because of course we need to personalise this for you too.

I work with my couples to create a design that doesn’t have ‘wedding’ words like ‘welcome to our wedding’ or their venue name. Instead by using your names, dates or a special quote it instantly means it can be used past your wedding day because there isn’t a direct reference to the day solely.

Once you are happy with the details I will get busy in my studio prepping your canvas for the wedding day. It will be ready with your personalisation so your guests instantly know we are creating art just for you.

On the day of your wedding, with my support your guests will feel comfortable to tap into their artistic side (yes even if they think they don't have one). We will work together to add strokes in various colours to the canvas, really creating that bespoke artwork for you.

When the day comes to an end I will take your artwork back to my studio. I will check it is perfect, frame the canvas in a natural wooden frame and seal it - ensuring it is ready for its forever home.

And then it will be on its way to you. Your one of a kind, stunning and sentimental artwork piece that will always remind you of the best day!

What are my favourite things about interactive textured art:

  • Your guests of all ages can be involved, meaning this really does include everyone in your special day.

  • It is completely bespoke to you - no other wedding will have the same strokes or personalisation.

  • It is made with love, literally - your favourite people are making this.

  • It becomes a talking point on your wedding day and after. Your guests will be excited to see this hanging in your home, pointing out their marks.

Hear from a Bride who loved her experience:

A huge highlight for us was the live textured art experience during the wedding reception, as it was something truly special and unlike anything we’d seen at a wedding before. Charlotte was incredible at guiding and advising guests while still encouraging everyone to express themselves freely. It became a real talking point throughout the night — even guests who were busy dancing took a few minutes to step away and admire (or contribute to) the artwork.

What made it even more wonderful was how inclusive it felt. Our older and more reserved guests, who might not have been up on the dance floor or drinking much, absolutely loved having something creative and meaningful to be part of. Nanny Jan couldn’t get enough of it! The activity gave everyone a shared moment, and now we have this gorgeous piece of art filled with memories and the energy of the people we love most.

I would love to work with you to create your very own artwork experience!
