Textured art is a style of artwork that is hand crafted onto canvas, using a range of paste materials. The modelling paste allows us to build up textured backgrounds and layers to create beautiful and lasting abstract artwork.

This interactive experience will allow your guests to be a part of the creation. Using palette knives and 3 colours to create a bespoke abstract piece of artwork to commemorate your day.

At your wedding I will be supporting your guests when creating this artwork piece. All ages and abilities can join in by adding their favourite colour to your canvas using a small palette knife - no artistic skills are needed!

I will help put your guests at ease as they watch the canvas come to life.

Interactive Textured Art is best created during your cocktail hour or reception - depending on what guests you want to be involved.

The cocktail hour will often be your day guests only whereas the reception will allow all your guests the opportunity to create the art piece.

These are key points in the day that will give your friends and family an activity to keep them entertained and occupied while you take photos or just have a minute to yourself.

I would recommend to allow at least 2 hours to get all your guests involved.

This experience was created with the intention that the piece becomes a bespoke artwork sign you want to display in your home forever - a treasured keepsake of your best day, with your best people.

Each hand painted sign is customisable. We will work together to ensure the colours used fit your wedding and home schemes and choose text that feels timeless.

Textured signs are delicate so caring for them is key. Be gentle when moving between wedding and your home, using the packaging provided.

To clean use a light duster with no polish or liquid. Try to hang the signage in a place that isn't above a radiator as change in heat continuously can affect the textured paste.

Oh there will always be moments where guests go wild with the palette knife and make some questionable decisions. Rest assured I am there to guide people to be polite during the process.

Once the sign is back at the studio for final preparations I will always check if there is anything you would like me to cover - it will be perfect before it arrives with you.

If you find a supplier you love, reach out to them as soon as you can to check availability - especially if your wedding falls within the peak months of April to September.

However as a general guideline I suggest reaching out 3 months prior to your wedding date to allow time to design everything.
